This is a vintage, hardcover book titled “Goethe’s Faust: Seven Essays” by Alan Cottrell. It was published in 1976 by the University of North Carolina Press. The book is in good shape with an intact and tight binding and pages that are free of tears. I saw ~5 pages that have a light line in pencil in the margin of the page. The cover has some fading and the boards are slightly splayed outwards (see photos).
